Disclaimers and Release from Liability

I wrote this “Disclaimers Page” to make people aware of the dangers of working with small equipment powered by small engines. I created this Disclaimers Page due to potential liabilities and risks. I operate my business in a transparent manner and there is an old saying “Ignorance is no excuse.” I was a safety leader for ExxonMobil for 10 years, so the best policy is to make this information public; whether you read it or not is up to you.

Warning! Small engines and associated power tools and/or equipment are very dangerous to operate and should be operated by qualified personnel only!

Warning! To avoid serious injuries, do not attempt to use a power tool until you have read and thoroughly understand the operator’s manual completely!!! If you do not understand the warnings and instructions, then it is your responsibility to contact the customer service dept. of the manufacturer.

Warning! “Larry’s Small Engine Service, LLC” will not be responsible for anyone that should get injured if they enter our shop area.

Warning! Servicing requires extreme care and knowledge and should only be performed by a qualified service Technician.

It is the responsibility of the owner of the power tool and/or associated equipment to ensure that they completely and fully understand the operational information provided in the owner/operator’s manual of the power tool and/or associated equipment.

NOTE: As stated by all manufacturers of power tools, you the owner or operator should use the appropriate PPE for personal protection.
